With patient consent, providers can access DocTap clinical records linked to the appointments arranged under their organisation account. This includes DocTap consultation notes, prescriptions, letters, test results and related clinical documents from those visits, not the patient’s wider NHS record.
In the provider account, the healthcare provider pays DocTap for consultations by card. Any charge the provider applies to the patient is handled by the provider outside DocTap.
The provider confirms that the patient has consented before accessing DocTap clinical records. Consent is handled at patient level when the patient is added under the provider account.
Yes. Healthcare providers can arrange DocTap GP consultations for new or existing patients under their organisation account. The provider manages the booking on the patient’s behalf, and DocTap provides the GP consultation.

The standard setup is for GP consultations. If you want diagnostics, testing, health screens, on-site lab pathways or other services added to your arrangement, DocTap can set this up for your organisation.
Yes. Any patient-facing charge is at the provider’s discretion and is handled outside the DocTap platform. DocTap charges the provider standard patient rates for the appointment.
